Surf

I'm back in the water! And, my 21 year old wesuit still fits! Okay, it's a bit leaky and I'm in need of a replacement. But it warms my heart (and my body) as only an old friend can...

That and my trusty 8'5" Minard and I'm good to go. I have been frequenting the Hook, Capitola, HMB, and on occasion, Manresa State Beach. If you see me in the water, c'mon over and have a chat.

I had been seriously overweight for about 14 years so did not surf in that time. However, I stayed connected to surfing by writing some surf movie, book, and software reviews. Links for those are here below...

I have also picked up a few new ones. I'm going to try to do a surf movie marathon over the next few months and hope to fill in Big Wednesday (as long promised). As well, I'll cover Riding Giants, Step Into Liquid, Power Glide (Longboard Magazine), and another big wave DVD I received recently. Still waiting on 5 Summer Stories(finally out on DVD!)...
